Standard thickness presta valve tubes in sizes to fit road or mountain bikes.

Typical 26 x 1.9-2.125 tube weighs 190 grams.

Sorry, but as these tubes come from any of several suppliers, we cannot guarantee the length of the valve supplied. If you need tubes for a "deep dish" rim, consider a presta valve extender.

I pull the valve cores on mine and add some True Goo to them. I am very happy with the results.

I bought 10 of 'em, thinking that they sounded like a good deal. I installed the first one of them yesterday when I got a flat on a long ride. I only pumped it to about 70 psi, which I figured would get me home, and when I pulled my pump off the core of the valve stem broke off. So I put another one on. This time I was very careful, but I still bent the core -- just the external part; it still held air fine. When I got home in inflated the tube to 115 psi and was very careful about putting the floor pump on and off. Guess what? The core broke off again. 8 tubes to go. I put on another and so far it has held, but how many of these are going to be that weak? Even this one, with a floor pump so that there was no lateral force and with great care attaching and removing the pump, bent slightly when I pumped it up. I've been riding a lot for the past 7 years, and I have never broken off a valve core. In this batch I'm 2 out of 3, which leads me to believe that this is not just my fault. And the third, with its new bend, looks like it is going to break in a month or so after a few re-inflations.How many of these are going to break on me?

ridiculously short valve stems

By Evan

Pros

  • cheap

Cons

  • Valve length
  • Variable quality

Best Uses

I bought 20 and they came with ~35mm valve stems. I could not inflate the tubes when mounted on my 23mm box section rims. For reference, that's 4mm taller than mavic open pro rims, which is the shallowest rim that you're ever likely to see in person. I'll have to use a valve extender which is a huge hassle.

The product page warns about this but says it will only be a problem for "deep dish" rims, which mine clearly are not. I feel deceived and the return dance is too expensive and time-consuming to be worthwhile.

I've got these a few times and it's always something different.
I mean a tube is more or less a tube. But sometimes it's one brand other times its another brand. I haven't had any problems with anything.
And for the cost they've worked out fine

No flats so far. The switch from Presta to Schrader was definitely worth it. These tubes are great as a backup to have on-hand.

Solid tubes for a good price. No more or less flats than any other brands I've used.

          My Schwinn Avenue...

          By W Bradley

          from Knoxville, Tn United States

My Schwinn Avenue has high profile wheels and the long stem is great. I don't have to bother with extensions. The tubes have held up well to some abuse. Combined with the low cost, I can see buying a case with my next order.
