Straitline Defacto Pedal

Straitline DeFacto Pedal

Straitline sure does know how to make a set of awesome all-mountain pedals that are not only tough as nails but also as easy as pie to service. No stranger to abuse or impact, Straitline pedals are rigorously tested and are sure to hold up even in the most demanding situations. The generously wide platform of 93mm x 103mm provides ample room for even the widest of feet and 9 replaceable hex screws ensure your foot stays on the pedal. But what’s most impressive about Straitline’s pedals is the fact that they can be serviced in less than 10 minutes with nothing more than a screwdriver, making these the last set of pedals you’ll ever need to buy.

  • Footprint: 98 mm x 108 mm, height incl. pins: 27 mm (height of pins 5 mm)
  • 517g / pair (including all 56 traction pins) built for heavy hits and Freeride DH applications.
  • 14 HEX pins per face
  • Nickel plated hardened alloy axles
  • Body machined from proprietary high strength aluminum alloy, designed for real world applications and impacts of all kinds.
  • IGUS IGLIDE Polymer Bearing System
  • 10 minute rebuild / Endless rebuild capability

Comments about Straitline Defacto Pedal:

Awesome pedals. Never slip. Tons of holes to customize pin layout (I just put all the pins in).

Never one problem. As good as the day I bought them just have a ton of scratches now. Perform excellent.

Not a low profile pedal but durability is never in question. Feel solid.

    Comments about Straitline Defacto Pedal:

I have a 6" travel am bike. These are very grippy and strong pedals. Work very nicely with some 5.10 or Teva biking shoes. Don't take your foot off the pedal while riding as these things will eat your shin and calfs when they spin around. I have some gnarly scars from them, but they are still on my bike for a reason!

    Comments about Straitline Defacto Pedal:

These are Fantastic pedals. Don't be turned off by the fact that they won't spin as freely as you may be used to. I switched from SPD to these and was faster day one. These are plenty big, penty tough and they just plain work. Worth the extra cost for sure.

      Comments about Straitline Defacto Pedal:

These pedals are awsome, great addition to my SC Nomad. Very well built and tuff as nails. Most of my riding is in the desert and these things have seen alot of rocks. Grip is awsome, rarely a pedal slip. Can't see me needing to replace these any time soon, if ever.

      Excellent downhill pedals

      Comments about Straitline Defacto Pedal:

Bought these for riding my enduro at Mammoth Mt bike park - had dual sided clipless and spiked platform but my feed were slipping off the platform side. Ordered 5-10's but they didn't come in for the 1st weekend, so took my clips off my shoes and they were like glue. Lot more confidence off drops and in the rocks.
Don't use them for my cross country though, still like the clips on the way up.

      Comments about Straitline Defacto Pedal:

These pedals are awesome on my Rocky Mountain Element 50 MSL! They look great! I am not into the clip in platform, so these are the next best thing. Great grip and stability. The build is excellent with no bending in the platform. They are easy to maintain and rebuild.
I am happy I have them.

These pedal match up great to 5-10 shoes. Once your feet are on the pedals they do not move a bit. You literally have to lift your foot off of the pedals to get the off. There is no more sliding your foot around on the tough demands of DH riding. The look great and have proven to be a tough and reliable design.
