I bought a pair of Sun Rhyno lite rims from Jenson. These rims are for a 1978 Motobecane tandem that originally came with steel 27" rims.I needed a 36 hole front and 40 hole rear which are increasingly hard to find.I wanted to convert the tandem to 700c so I would have a better selection of tire widths. I love these new rims. They are wider than the original, laced up beautifully and are bullet proof! I installed 40mm width tires on them and the bike rides awesome!

Im 6'0" and 215 lbs, and Im a little rough on my equipment. Ive bashed rim after rim in the past, three sets before the rhyno lite. I am flat out impressed. 3ft to flat concrete drops, a few slams and tumbles, and alot of banging down rocky root covered trails. All ive done is tension the spokes after every ride, not a single tweak or bend. I will definantly buy another set.

I wanted something bullet proof as I'm 6'2" and weigh around 225 lbs. - I play sports and the MTB is the fun part of the training regime. The bike gets used for single track, some downhill, some road riding, general hack duties. Quiet, simple and real fun to ride. Not in to high-tech stuff as pointless for my needs and this meets my requirements nearly perfectly.I'm 45 and have been riding off road since I bought my first MTB in 1986 .
