I like the head strap because I don't like the big plastic piece behind my ears when I wear headphones. I find it a little hard to get it adjusted, they feel good then in a little while my nose starts to hurt. In my experience they can be looser than you think they need to be. Also the anti fog seems to not work very well. I wore them on a cool night and when I slowed down or stopped I would have to pull them up to keep them from fogging up. I love having the lens choices and the head strap for the price that can't be beat.

First, the fit:
These kept slipping off, so I put on the headband that comes with them. That was okay, but I had to cut the headband around where my ears are so that it wouldn't push my ears out and make me look more stupid that I already do. This then created a lot of pressure (even after I tried adjusting the tension/length of the headband). The rubbery nose bridge part literally left bruises on my nose. I was pretty surprised by that. However, still, I must say that I didn't feel uncomfortable in them after 80+ miles out on the road. Just a lot of pressure.

Second, the quality:

(The good.) The visual quality is great, and I seriously can't imagine that paying hundreds of dollars more improves visual acuity "at all" . . . not even a little bit. I hear and read about distortion issues, but seriously, you'd have to be buying worthless sunnies from the gas/petrol station to get that sort of problem. In reality, I only encounter poor visual quality in cycling sunglasses as a "fear" and not as an experience. Maybe there is someone with a bad pair somewhere, if so then you just went too cheap or didn't read any reviews.

(The bad.) My pair broke on about the fourth time I wore them. I noticed right away that one has to be careful with the lenses when switching them out. I thought that with my being careful everything would be fine, but it turns out that it must be stressing the frame just too much and so as I was switching out the lenses, the frame just cracked. I put some superglue on it, but the crack just reopened during the ride. I'd say I am a fairly careful person when it comes to that sort of thing, wasn't in a rush, or anything, so I was surprised and bummed by the fact that they broke with not much force being applied.

Conclusion:
I wish these were going to last, I can deal with the fit issue and all that, since they were in the end good sunnies. However, I almost always get bitten when I try to find some cheap way out of something. So, I figure I just need to bite the bullet and step up my game to a better known brand that has some legacy quality I can rely on.

I was really happy with all of the extra lenses and the case that these came with, these are a great value simply because of all the extras, on the downside they do not feel like the most durable construction, and I noticed some distortion in the lenses.

He patiently explained how to properly change the lenses, and arranged to ship me a replacement, to my RAGBRAI hotel no less! Simply the best customer service I've experienced in a long time!
