The venerable Steamroller has always come with "track" parts like a drop bar and such. But fixed gear bikes are being ridden everywhere now, not just the velodrome. Steamrollers frame and fork are constructed of durable 4130 chromoly steel, for an excellent balance of cost-effectiveness, ride quality, weight, and lifespan. This is a bike you can feel good about riding and USING without worrying about weather, bad roads, etc. While it was designed as a fixed gear machine (and can certainly be ridden at the track) the geometry is more like a road bike.

- The only braze-ons are water bottle bosses. If you need to carry a rack, panniers, etc; consider the excellent Long Haul Trucker instead
