Comments about T.H.E. F-1 2 Piece Storm Knee/Shin Guard:
They're very comfortable, and even in 90+ degree weather they don't feel too hot because of the strap-only design instead of a full-sleeve design. The straps hold everything firmly in place without feeling like they're digging into your leg, with one exception: The ankle strap is a bit on the short side, so they're tight around the ankle if you're a bigger rider.
Take into consideration that I'm 6'6" and 210 pounds.
I've taken a couple of gnarly spills wearing these, and they've spared me from banging up my knees when bailing on a rocky landing, and from clanging my shins with my pedals when slipping up a landing.
Definitely worth every penny.
