Built up a '95 model Specialized hybrid frame I came across that was in perfect condition. Wanted to keep the build as affodable as possible to see if the wife enjoys cycling. Put a pair of these brakes on and they will rip the fillings out of your teeth. Excellent stopping power and very smooth feel. Highly recommend for under $30 a pair.

Built up two different bikes using these and was very happy with the way they performed. I thought they were almost as good as the Shimano brakes I used on one of my other bikes.

The plus of these is that they have a slightly longer arm than average which allows for additional clearance on some fender set-ups. Unfortunately, this could equally cause some problems with certain rack mounts.
The stopping power is truly average. And the springs on this are flimsy, which leads to finicky adjustments over time.
