Nice levers replaced another pair of Tekros I had on the bars. Those were for the smaller diamter bar and would not fit all the way up to the stem. These have a great feel and don't cause the regular levers to feel soft at all. Some levers don't have the clamp feature leave those alone as the clamp allows better placement and eaiser removal. Great for "on the top bar" braking in traffic with a fully loaded touring bike. Mounted these on a pair of Salsa Woodchippers and they work great.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

These should be standard equipment for recreational road bikes, most riding is done on the top part of the bars anyway. Adds a practical functionality to the braking process without much weight.
