Black Chili Compound is the key to performance in the Continental Mountain King II UST, delivering greater grip and durability with less rolling resistance. The Black Chili Compound in combination with the tread provides a fast tire with great traction.
The generous volume allows the King to roll swiftly and provides loads of traction and direct steering response. In fast corners the outer lugs are ramped to provide support that even in the most adverse conditions provide security.

Comments about Continental Mountain King II UST Tire:
Use this with my tubeless ready Shimano rims and they fit seamlessly. Just fit them, fill with air, and ready to ride. The tires are fat and grip is great. I use the X-race on rear in 2.2 which provide for nice acceleration while the 2.4 mountain up front provide for great grip. Pricey but searched the internet and got them for less than $50.00 . Jensons price matching is great.

Comments about Continental Mountain King II UST Tire:
Got a set of these, and the all around grip is excellent, even on wet rocks and roots. Great tire! I had some issues with one of the tires though. 3 knobs ripped off on the first ride on gentle xc trails with barely any rocks. It was clean rips, down to the carcass, about the size of a quarter. customer service was great, told me it was a known issue on some older batches, and offered replacement right away without even asking me to ship it back.
Other than that, it's a great tire.

Comments about Continental Mountain King II UST Tire:
I use the 2.2 for Ontario trails. Rolls fast with plenty of cornering grip. The 2.4 worked great on the North Shore. It would be a little light duty for regular bike park riding, but it worked good enough for a few rides.

Comments about Continental Mountain King II UST Tire:
I have been super happy with these tires. 2.4 front, 2.2 rear. Superb cornering, climbing, rocks, mud. I am recommending them to all of my friends. I have also tried the non-UST version and they are equally as good. Only drawback is the cost but I feel they are worth every penny.
