This small chain tool goes anywhere and actually performs like a shop quality tool. The fine thread, special "V"-shaped handle, and super strong replaceable pin make chain removal and installation a breeze. The CT-5 works on any derailleur chain (including Hyperglide) and has a "shelf" for loosening tight links. At only 77 grams, its the perfect take-along chain tool.

Comments about Park Tool Park CT-5 Mini Chain Brute:
This chain tool works very well, it's small and lightweight and takes up very little room in the pack/tool bag. The first one worked so well that I bought a second tool to keep in my tool kit on my road bike. It makes short work of repairing chains, whether in the garage or out on the trail. Great job Park Tool!

Its a good tool, durable enough for a low volume shop, and light enough to bring riding DH

I've used this a number of times...being a habitual chain breaker! It just works perfectly. So good I have two...one in each pack. Never leave home without it!!

Comments about Park Tool Park CT-5 Mini Chain Brute:
I keep this chainbreaker in my camelback all the time. It's small enough to fit easily into my tool kit, and it makes fixing a broken chain easy, even in the backwoods where I mountain bike. Very satisfied with my purchase.

Comments about Park Tool Park CT-5 Mini Chain Brute:
This little tool lives up to it's name, it easily pushes the pins on any chain i've used it on. The pins are replaceable if you ever manage to break one. It's always in my pack on trail rides.

Comments about Park Tool Park CT-5 Mini Chain Brute:
Used as a home or travel tool for just in case situations. Great size for carrying around. Although 'heavy', the mass gives it a better feeling like it will do the job without breaking. I felt that the lever could be a little longer to help increase torque, but I'm a weakling.

Comments about Park Tool Park CT-5 Mini Chain Brute:
I've only used this to replace a Shimano 10 speed mtb chain so far, but it's been stellar in that respect. It's cheap, small, light, sturdy, simple to use and packs easily. I keep it in my little travel multi-tool set where ever I ride. It's a "must have" tool, especially if you use Shimano chains that require the rivet to pushed out/pressed in.

Comments about Park Tool Park CT-5 Mini Chain Brute:
A great little chain tool that is small enough to stuff in a pack or seat pouch for a longer tour. Also has what it takes to be the main chain tool for any home shop.

Comments about Park Tool Park CT-5 Mini Chain Brute:
A must for the pack, and in the shop. Very easy to use in the field for repairs and at home replacing or sizing chains. It easily handles 9 and 10 speed chains. My only gripe is that gripping it can sometimes be ackward but after a few uses it will become intuitive.
