Park Tool worked with 3M to produce a self adhesive tube patch that stretches, flexes, twists, and turns right along with the tube. No messy glue, no bulky packaging. Lightly roughen tube with the included sandpaper, clean, apply patch, and youre ready to go. Six patches with sandpaper in a neat little carry along box.

This is the best solution I have found to fix tubes. With the regular patches, the glue dries before opened, so I keep collecting patches. This is a total waist
The trick with the glueless patches is to inflate over 35psi (MTB) if the presure is lower than that it might start leaking, and you need to inflate before every ride

I use to use GP-1(discontinued), and carried the kit everywhere I went on my bicycle. It had the same look as GP-2 but the difference is night and day. GP-1 had good elasticity that stretches as the tube expands, but not GP-2. they changed the formula with stiffer patch, you patch it and leaks before you go out of the house. On the other hand, GP-1 I put on my tubes several years ago are still working.
I experimented with two patches, GP-1 and GP-2 side by side and inflated the tube half way. GP-2 chokes (bottle neck) the tube far more.
I stopped using gluless variety altogether and went back to regular glue patches.

Not recommended for permanent patch, but if you get flat away from home, this guys will keep you going. But remember to change the patch for a conventional one. Like Thumbs Up patches.

Comments about Park Tool Park GP-2C Glueless Patch Kit:

These come in a really compact kit which fits in any bike seat pack or pocket. They don't require any added adhesive and they stick like stink. They are great for emergency flats in the woods and will get you home from a thorn or nail puncture. I have used them several times on tires and kept using the tube for the life of the tire or until the tube got several other punctures. What else do you want from a patch kit?

This is awesome, it is so tiny I bearly notice it in my pocket, only 1"X1"X 1/8". theres is no glues in this patch just rough the tube with the included sandpaper and stick on patch it takes longer to dig it form your bag than whole application process. i even used it to patch my Brother's kick ball.

It's a back up to your back up. No screwing around with glue. Just rough surface and stick on. While testing tires on my cross bike I've had up to 3 of these things on one tube.

The only patch I use. It may not last forever, but it's sooo easy to use it's worth the tradeoff. When it fails, just plop another one one, but by then it's usually time for a new tube anyway.

Comments about Park Tool Park GP-2C Glueless Patch Kit:

Used this when I got a flat, and my LBS only had these in stock. Small hole in the tube, but had to go through 2 patches to learn how to do it right (first time the patch had a big bubble in the middle with high pressure and slowly leaked). Like another reviewer said inflate the tube a bit first because the patch wont stretch and will just cause problems otherwise.

These are more for a quick fix on the road, unlike vulcanized patches which seem to work for the life of the tube. Leaving these in my pack for an emergency. For a backup these will get you home and are great. Just patch it up with glue at home and it will be good as new.

Comments about Park Tool Park GP-2C Glueless Patch Kit:

These are okay for small holes but dont do so well for pinched areas. They stretch very little exposing the hole. They will get you through the ride but dont count on the same tube for your next epic. They can be used for tires as well if your in a bind. Also small blisters for temperary relief.
