Comments about Topeak Compact Survival Tool Bag:

This is a nice little tool set. There is plenty of room for my cell phone, spare tire tube, CO2 pump and a snack. I like the reflective strip and that it has a rain cover.

Comments about Topeak Compact Survival Tool Bag:

Nice under seat tote for cell, extra tube or a power bar - whatever - tools are a nice touch for making adjustments or fixing a flat. You will pay triple the price at any local retailer compared to Jenson for this exact bag. Like others have noted - one of the zipper pulls was already broken, and when I opened the other compartment that zipper pull fell apart too - its an easy fix, but its annoying.

Comments about Topeak Compact Survival Tool Bag:

I used this kit to change some things that I ordered at the same time. It worked out great. I had just about all the tools I needed to work on my bike. The only tool it didn't have was a wrench that would fit my pedals for remove them. The zipper handles broke as soon as I used them. The multitool kit in this kit is strong and the tools are well made, sturdy. I like the reflector tape on the pouch, any additional light is a plus.

    Meh

Comments about Topeak Compact Survival Tool Bag:

Took the product a while to ship (I'm in Texas), but it was about half some other retailers' prices, so it was worth it. Got it and realized the bottom zipper pull had fallen off (just the plastic bit, the tiny metal piece was still there meaning it was still usable). Thought this was due to weak packaging, but within 5 minutes of taking it out of the box, the top zipper disintegrated as well. I rigged some alternate pulls so it wasn't a big deal to me, but I could see how it might be to some. Other than the zipper problems, the case has held together well.

As far as the tool kit, I have only had to use the multi-tool a few times and it seems to be acceptable for most jobs. The only thing I would mention is that the Phillips head screwdriver tapers to a fine point so that it can be used on smaller screws. While this is nice for smaller screws, it means that it is essentially useless on larger screws, as the point prevents the fins from making contact with the screw head.
