Tri-Flow is my old standby. I am never without a bottle. It's thinner than WD-40 and much more bicycle friendly.
I've used it to saturate and free seized bottom brackets, relube cable housing, derailleur pivots, jockey wheels, chains...the list goes on. You name it, this stuff will lubricate it.
While not the perfect chain lube -- it's a little too wet and doesn't last very long. It will work in a pinch.
Be sure to wipe off any excess from components as it does attract some dirt, dust and debris.
No bike shop, home or professional, should be without a bottle of Tri-Flow.

I like this brand better than other top shelf products similar in nature. It's one of the few that comes with a straw which allows a longer life span of the bottle.

Best lube Ive ever used. I tried different brands but always went back to tri flow. Cleans debris and dirt from the chain and coats it. It penetrates deep and lubes the hinges well. I also use it for shifters and derailers. Simply the best lube for me.

TriFlow is an excellent lube to use in certain applications, like the lubrication of a cable in its housing (when the teflon starts to wear out) or on pivots. If you are a mountain biker, I highly recommend that you DO NOT use this product on your chain, as it is very sticky and will cause tremendous buildup in your pivots. Stick with a product meant specifically for chains, like Dumonde or White Lightning.Also, after using this product, ensure that you wipe up all excess or you risk dirt collection when it dries.
