Inspired by downhill riding, Urge has created the Endur-O-Matic helmet
Although Urge drew inspiration from downhill, this helmet is for any type of cycling. On warm sunny days, you’ll be thankful for the eight round vents (30mm in diameter) embedded into the helmet. The internal channels push the air through the helmet and cool your head as you are pounding down the trail. Urge created the "Gangsta" frontal pad to be in contact withthe air while riding. This keeps the pad drier and your head will be more comfortable. Comfort is essential and that is why Urge has created soft, removable, and washable pads for their helmet. Also included are pads of different thickness for customizing your fit. So it looks different, like Astroboys hair. Its light, it has a bit more head protection. The straps are ok although one is always touching my ear no matter how many times I adjust it. I like the helmets with the adjustable plastic strap behind your head. This doesnt have it and it feels a bit like cereal bowl on my head. But it never moves.
The Gangsta pad soaks up sweat and if you ride in the rain it doesnt drip in your eyes.
I give this helmet a Meh +1.

So far a great helmet. Stays cool, even though there doesnt appear to be many vents. Great asthetics. Been using this helmet for trail rides around the Whistler area, thankfully havent tested its durability due to a crash, bur im sure its more than up to the task.

This helmet functioned perfectly. It looks great on my head and stayed in place all day. It is a little hot under there but the gangsta pads absorb sweat very well. Giving that it was 95 outside what is to be expected. I like the look and feel of this helmet. It does get a nice breeze inside it when riding fast. I did not like the fact that on the black helmet the middle isn't quite black, more like a dark silver or grey. I wanted an all black but it's not that big of a deal. Very good purchase over all.

normal use: ridding around the neighborhood with my kids, to riding the technical trail in houston to and will be taking it to Colorado this summer for my vacation..
things that are great about is that when you wear it, it feels like its a part of you. you dont notice that you are wearing a helmet. and not to mention that the airflow is pretty sweet.
i have not seen or felt whats not great about it other than the price. but like the saying goes. you get what you paid for.
