Although Urge drew inspiration from downhill, this helmet is for any type of cycling. On warm sunny days, you’ll be thankful for the eight round vents (30mm in diameter) embedded into the helmet. The internal channels push the air through the helmet and cool your head as you are pounding down the trail. Urge created the "Gangsta" frontal pad to be in contact withthe air while riding. For the longest time I was using a helmet with a removable visor for both my road riding and mountain biking, but I wanted something that was purely mountain bike. I found the Enduro-matic to be just that. Shockingly light weight and looks to match, my helmet gets a lot of compliments. One wouldn't expect it to vent well with only the few holes in it but the visor, vent holes and the "Gangsta Pad" (which looks way sweet) all work together to keep this helmet pretty cool on the head. Sizing wasn't bad, but I have a big head and had to swap some of the extra pads around to get the right feel for me. It stays put, its very comfortable, looks hot and rides cool. I love it.
