Pros

  • Road cycling

Cons

  • Bearings

Best Uses

  • Indoor

Comments about VP Platform Exerciser Pedals:

I use this product on my touring bicycle. The product is made for indoor trainers but i have not found another product that will work as well as this for my application.
If you take the counter weight out they are very light cycling pedal. They provide good support for flat feet of feet that need a wide area. They help prevent hot spots when riding long distances ( more than 4 hours), allow the use of regular shoes without special cleats, and are easy to adjust. Price is good

Cons: They are a large pedal and you need to be careful while cornering, The bearings are not well made and, on the road, you only get 500 miles out of a set. This is my third set.

To improve this product use better bearings for outside riding

Comments about VP Platform Exerciser Pedals:

I use my recumbent bike 4+ times per week, and for apprx. 5 years. This is the second time I've had to replace the straps on the pedals. Considering my sons who average 6'4" in height (and are big athletic young men) use my bike also, I feel that is not bad.
I'm extremely pleased with the hardy replacements that Jenson has shipped and fast! I love my bike and am not ready to replace it, so being able to order the straps/pedals is a very economical, practical solution to keeping my bike in good running condition.
