    Comments about Velo PRONTO-Z1 Saddle:

I've gone through several saddles recently trying to find a good one to use. I purchased this, installed it, and then tried it out. So far I've used it on several bike rides and I've had no discomfort and it feels great! The last saddle I got seemed to never fit right, however, this one was perfect right out of the box.

      Comments about Velo PRONTO-Z1 Saddle:

      Me: 205lbs 5'8 36" waist
      Bike: Anthem
      Trails: Easy
      Ride Times: 20min - 2hours

It seems like the less seat time I have the more uncomfortable the seat gets. For me the more the comfy the seat, the longer I can ride.

It took me a while to find a seat I liked, the last one I settled on was a WTB Pure V which is now discontined. I should of pulled it off my bike before I sold it, anyhow, I've gone through a few on my anthem since then and decide to stick with my last purchase which is this Velo pronto.
My first impression was not good, it felt too hard, I was bummed. I was getting ready to buy another, but I gave it a try then something happened, as I started riding and putting more miles on it I completely forgot that it was too firm. It either got softer or my butt got used to it. Either way it's now a decent saddle and my butt bones are ok with it.

All around good seat. Bought this to replace the stock seat on one of my bikes.

I like how it feels and have no complaints and it looks pretty nice too.

If you need a decent seat that's not too expensive this is it.

A great saddle for the price if you value comfort over weight. Still feels good even after 4+ hours on the trail.

This seat is excellent for the money. I feel like it's dated in appearance, but no biggy. I bought it for the comfort, and it does the job fairly well, and so far it seems to be hold up well with my frequent rides on my XC on single tracks.

Bought one, then liked it so much I got a second one to put on another bike. I replaced a couple of OEM seats that were either ripped or uncomfortable. The gel padding is great, and it fits much better fit than either of the seats I replaced. They are mainly used for commuting and rides under 30 miles, but should feel fine for longer outings.

                    Comments about Velo PRONTO-Z1 Saddle:

I bought this to replace a disintegrating 12 year old Velo that came stock on a Performance Bicycle aluminum hardtail MTB that had been sitting unused for nearly a decade.

I'm not sure why, but I do find this seat initially uncomfortable on the bottom of my hips for the first few hundred yards or so of a ride. Perhaps the gel needs time to warm up, as after that initial distance, I cease to notice the seat. My riding as of late has been a 3 mile urban commute, and aside from the mentioned initial discomfort, I have found the Pronto-Z1 up to the task of riding on worn Chicago streets.

For comparison purposes, I'm 5'7" and 150lbs, and usually ride with a backpack full of gym gear.
