I bought two front tires for my bike, and even though I don't have the lateral paddles on the rear, these tires dig like crazy. I haven't gotten these tires to break loose much at all, even in 3-4" of gumbo mud and 24" of water (no lie). I wasn't expecting a very fast rolling tire when I got these, but having two front tires is tolerable, even on pavement. Tires do make a lot of noise while turning on pavement, so I don't figure these will last forever...

Another set of tyres that has stood the test of time. Been around for what, nigh on 20 years? The fact that it's still around shows that it's still able to stand up to the abuse of today's increasingly demanding riders. I first used these back in 1995 and till today remain one of my all time favourites. Solid tyres! Get them! Only downside, they don't come in larger than 2.1"!

I bought both the front and back of these tires. They are a great price for a great tire. Really help you stay on the trails and just tear things up, quite literally. Im extremely happy with these because they do improve my performance, but also just look really cool on any bike. Defiantly would buy again and again. The only problem which isnt really a problem is they add a lot of friction on roads.

Great tread pattern. Throws up lots of roost.
In the rear the motto tread/ sand paddle tread is great for climbing and getting immensely great traction. But this is a downside because it provides great rolling resistance.
Great tire though.
