Originally conceived in 2002, the re-designed WeirWolf tire from WTB is a product of 5 years development between top endurance downhiller Mark Weir and WTB chief designer Mark Slate. The product is a tire with unparalleled grip and predictability at any lean angle. The terraced side knobs feature an advanced progressive design. The tread is soft on initial turn-in and conforms to the terrain. The faster the turn-in the firmer the knobs become. The TCS (tubeless compatible design) combines a dedicated tubeless bead with a lightweight casing, offering the benefits of tubeless design without the weight penalty. The WeirWolf is at home on all big mountain rides.

Comments about WTB Weirwolf TCS Tubeless Tire '12:
These are great for gaining traction in just about all conditions and the grip is very confidence inspiring however, the large ramped knobs increase rolling resistance considerably. These are not a good xc tire although WTB sometimes advertises them that way.

Comments about WTB Weirwolf TCS Tubeless Tire '12:
Exellent tires. I've ridden them all over Nor Cal with no problems. I've gotten over two years of (average) two or more rides a week out of them (though the rear does need replacing now). The only two flats I've had in all that time were due to letting the sealant dry up. Never had a sidewall gash or puncture. I usually run them around 22F-25R psi.

Comments about WTB Weirwolf TCS Tubeless Tire '12:
I am running them with tubes but I find them to be really fast rollling tires. They climb well and descend well I live in the Okanagan and they preform great on the arid trails we have here. I road them on the North shore this weekend in the semi wet conditions (i.e. it hadn't rained for a couple days)and they performed very well on wood stunts and even mossy rocks. I didn't have them slip around a bit the when I got into some mossy wet rocks and roots but they were very controllable.

Comments about WTB Weirwolf TCS Tubeless Tire '12:
just switched to these a month ago from nobby nics, and these are better by a ton. great grip, loose traction, and consistent durability are enough reasons to justify the price.
