It's impossible to tell from the picture, but these pedals are one-sided. This means, one side is flat and intended for pedaling, and the other side is curved (i.e. the axle sticks out further than the cage).
The description doesn't say it, but these type of pedals are meant to be used with toe-clips exclusively. If you try to use them as flats, you'll be annoyed by the fact that they do not keep their orientation – you're constantly having to roll your foot across the pedal to flip them to the good side. The pedalling side also has very little traction and feel quite slippery when used. Again, you wouldn't be able to tell this just by looking at them.
Get these if you run toe clips, otherwise avoid! The description should be updated to indicate that these are one-sided pedals, recommended for use w/ toe-clips.

I still like to use toe clips and straps and I have large feet. These pedals fit me well. The bearings are usually too tight from the factory, but can be adjusted easily. Good quality pedals for the price. Use them on several bikes and they never seem to wear out. Don't like the plastic dust caps. Sometimes they fall off.
