I've tried many different types of chain lubes from various companies but nothing comes close to White Lightning Clean Ride. After trying this lube it will take a lot to get me to switch to anything else. This lube really does seem to clean your chain as you ride, I ride through various conditions such as dusty, muddy and snow but this lube works in all of them. My chain keeps quite and looking clean all the time since using this lube.
The only con I can think of is when riding in really dry conditions the lube seems to wear off quickly (perhaps because it sheds off all the dust) so I have to reapply every couple of days but its totally worth it.
Really happy with this product!!!

This lube is adequate.
Maybe it's great for those who ride in bone-dry conditions all the time, but for us on the Northeast it's just average.
It has a tendency to leave a white waxy film (I know it is a wax lube) that builds up and forms hard grime-attracting layers on the chainring and cog teeth.
It also doesn't last particularly long in adverse conditions and has the tendency to pick up grime.
If you're proactive about chain maintenance, then this lube (and pretty much any lube, for that matter) will be fine.

White Lightning works great. I lube my chain with it every other ride. It lubes the chain without letting dirt build up on the chain or gears. Great for mountain or road bikes. Perfect for SoCal's dry dusty dirt.

I have used this for many years and it works great in the arid West. Make sure your chain is very clean when you apply this and it will stay clean and quiet. I think the fluid has little dirt repelling magnets in it! I apply a small amount at the start of each major ride for trouble-free chain performance.

I've been using White Lightning Clean Ride for the past season and it's served me well overall. It lubricates well and while keeping dust and dirt off the chain. It only lasts a couple hours before I can feel the chain start to dry up though which requires me to lube it up before most rides. It dries quickly though so this isn't much of an ordeal.
It's definitely a dry lube as this stuff washed off really fast in the wet.
Clean Ride seems to work well overall though, I haven't had any chain issues since I've started using it.

Great stuff for where I ride in New Mexico. The super dusty conditions turn regular wet lubes into grinding mud. This goes on and the carrier evaporates, leaving waxy lube. And that then traps and sloughs off dirt.
Does need to be reapplied often in really dusty conditions. Should be applied and left to dry overnight before use for best effect.
