A beautiful stand indeed, and I'm sure it is remarkably stable--the reason being it is HUGE! It doesn't say on the website, though on the packaging it does clearly say 53 inch diameter. 53 inches! I had to return it as with two legs against the wall, the third leg stuck out into the workspace 42 inches. Just too big for my humble repair corner.

The price and delivery time from Jenson was great, no issues at all.The stand is a quality piece of equipment, very well built and very simple to use.
Also like the fact that it is aluminum so it will last, not rust and could use it for washing the bike and not worry about it rusting.Great device for those who wish to baby their bikes!

The improvements that stand out most for this newer model are the lighter weight and easier levers. The legs are a Tony bit shorter, so the stability is slightly reduced. All in all, this is a great unit. Get the one with the duffel, well made and totally worth the 20 extra bucks.

Purchased this stand after using a much inferior veloman sport stand, I was a little skeptical about the price and the clamp, but let me tell you, this clamp is amazing. The stands comes folded up like a photo-studio light stand, and is very very sturdy. I have no issues mounting a 35lbs bike to it. The clamp is in my opinion one of the best I've ever used, no fumbling to get it tight while trying to hold the bike up.
Search youtube for a video on this stand and you'll understand how easy the clamp is.

No more squat rack and olympic bar (the bike was tied to the bars) and wind trainer for me, now that I've got a real stand. All the servicing is Soooo much easier now. You don't realize it till you've got a repair stand and a good one to boot. The only negitive thing I can say is my XC Trek won't stay put on the stand if I try to rotate it up in steep angles. The head won't hold the bike in place, it will just rotate down to the ground, no matter how tight the head is. Lighter bikes are okay though in that position they don't move. Make sure to order the tool tray and the handbar holder. Both you'll find are worth having in the tool box, I sure did.

This is an excellent stand that I would highly recommend purchasing. I would also recommend purchasing the carrying bag, unless you know you will never take the stand out of your home. I checked a few reviews before purchasing this stand and it was rated the highest.

I was really surprise by the excellent quality of this stand versus a Park stand I had before. It's pretty tough and with stood be left in a rain storm over a weekend with NO worries what-so-ever. It is very adjustable and sturdy. I recommend it over the Park stands and the lesser Ultimate stands on here.
