It’s the bike you’ve been waiting for! Switch suspension technology, fast rolling 29” wheels and of course Yeti’s proven fit and feel. Just like every other bike Yeti has produced, the SB-95 is the peak of refinement. Yeti did not just ‘copy and paste’ their Switch suspension technology from their 26” wheeled bikes to a 29” version; they adapted, reengineered and tested it over and over until it was perfectly suited for the bigger wheel. The basics still hold true - super efficient without sacrificing traction and comfort.
The SB-95 starts with a highly engineered alloy tubeset that is beautifully sculpted. At its heart is Switch suspension technology. This ingenious design uses an oversized main pivot that actually contains a second pivot (lower pivot of the swing arm) which is offset within the main. This eccentric mechanism switches direction as the bike moves through its travel creating an optimized wheel path without unexpected spikes or wallows.
To gently guide you through the mountain, Yeti chose top- notch suspension pieces. Up front is the Rockshox Revelation. The Revelation is an air spring fork that provides smooth responsiveness. The 15mm Maxle Lite and 32mm aluminum upper tubes ensure a stiff fork. The Fox Float rear shock features CTD and K+ technology. Climb Trail Descend (CTD) allows you to quickly micro- tune your rear suspension while on the trail. The quick and easy adjustment allows you to change settings multiple times while out on a ride. Never change a tube again. This version of the SB- 95 comes with tubeless Sun Ringle Black Flag wheels. The wheels are excellent for XC or trail riding. The cartridge bearing design requires little maintenance. Yeti teamed up with SRAM to provide you the best drivetrain at an affordable price. Seamlessly shift through the gears with X7 shifters, X7 front derailleur, and X9 rear derailleur. If a squirrel should block your path, the Exlir 5 brakes will take you from 30mph to 0 in the blink of an eye. This incredible bike will stand up to any trail you should decide to take it on.

This bike rocks! Suspension and big 29 inch wheels eat up everything the trail throws at it. The big wheelbase requires some time to get used to in tight turns and narrow trails, which are minor trade-offs to the stable, smooth ride you get when moving at speed. I find the Yeti to be a decent climber in spite of its weight and the suspension keeps the wheels glued to the trail on steeper ascents. It's more work to lift the bigger front wheel for bunny hops and I'm still working on getting the right technique down.
I'd love to see this bike a few pounds lighter out of the box. Other than that, you have an amazing bike that's a blast to ride.

If you have the money to spend and would like a do it all bike than look no further. Took me a while to save up for this "machine" but has given me back all my money in good times. I cant even find one thing that i even minorly do not love about this bike. Ive tested it on all forms of trail and performes great on downhill and will even keep up with hardtails on cross country.
