Comments about Zoic Ether Shorts 2013:

Comfortable on bike, a bit weird off bike, but I've had worse. M fits 32 inch waist easy. Sits just above knees ( i am 6 ft). Good pockets and good removable chamois. Zipper fly is nice, I only notice because another pair of shorts I have do not have zipper fly, which makes things tougher sometimes... I hate to spend lots on shorts but these are notably better than half priced alternatives I have tried.

Comments about Zoic Ether Shorts 2013:

These shorts are great for warm weather. They have a wicking panel between the legs for the full length of the shorts and the liner is very breathable. The main fabric is also made of a rip-stop material, which is good for falls and such.

I am a very skinny person (28) and managed to get a medium to fit snugly with the nice velcro pull tabs and loop closures.

There are also plenty of pockets including ones up top that have a shape that resists spillage. The ones more down towards the knee have solid water resistant zippers on them and are good for things like keys (as long as the items are light, to avoid pendulum effect).

Downsides: The material on the quads can chafe right above the knee, its just a little rough to the touch. Also, for me, the chamois is a little too thin to really do much, but it doesn't get in the way so its alright to have it there.

Bottom line: These are cheaper than many comparable products and provide almost all of the required features of a good MTB short, however they aren't great for long rides due to the chafing issue.
