As stated above, I ride an XC section that allows me to get to 37 MPH on a fast down hill fire road, then it drops of steeply to a semi technical rutted downhill section and these brakes hold me well. I am 190LBS.
I give it 4 stars due to the pressure & throw in the lever, but a 5 in performance.
Product Used For: 3 Months
Product Strengths:These brakes are GREAT for the price. I ride an XC section that allows me to get to 37 MPH on a fast down hill fire road, then it drops of steeply to a semi technical rutted downhill section and these brakes hold me well. I am 190LBS.
Product Weaknesses:I haven't adjusted the brakes yet, I just installed them, seated the pads and rode. I have a set of Hayes 9's on my Reign II, I put these Tertro's on my NRS2. The brake lever requires more travel and braking pressure on your hand than does the Hayes, however they are sure footed in their stopping ability....
