I am totally pleased with how these levers look, how they feel, and how they operate. They are an especially ~excellent~ value for the money. Don't sell your old bike, just update the controls and you'll give it another useful life.
Product Used For: 1 Month
Product Strengths:Lightweight. Simple. Minimalist. Good looking. Nice tight positive secure linear feel. Excellent downhill control. Because only two fingers are used for braking, the rest of your fingers can grip the bars. I have an old MTB and replaced the old style heavy clunky four finger levers with the Diatechs. They make the bike feel like it's brand new.
Product Weaknesses:The split cable adjusting ferrule and locknut aren't machined very well and are sloppy in the threads, but their proper operation isn't impeded by it. This was the only flaw I found, and it's a very minor one.
My Bike:20 year old Fisher mountain bike. I combined them with a new set of Answer Alumalite 2 inch rise bars, and new mushroom grips.
