Just like the Weekend Warrior from Washington, DC said it: Set it and Forget it. This set is worth investing 40 bucks. Although, I believe it could very well be a little less expensive.
Product Used For: 1 Year
Product Strengths:Very well thought-out. Very Well ! Installing the set is not a problem, but you need to know about mountain bikes. I do not know enough, and I do not want to mess things up. I had my mechanic do the installation.
The Weekend Warrior from Washington DC said it all in few words. After the installation is correct, you just forget about it. Enjoy the benefits from that moment on. I am not into modulation and all of those things. I rather have on my bike quality components to provide reliability and long life. In other words, I buy only Cadillacs. Then, I enjoy riding every day no matter what comes along my way. I know that I can ~within reason~ deal with all of it, and my beloved bike responds like a champ. Any questions ?
Product Weaknesses:If you are a reasonable person and you find one, please let me know.
My Bike:Mountain Bike - Schwinn S-30 - Totally customized with top notch components.

The system is great, it brakes really well, makes my brakes seem a lot stronger, we'll see how they do in the long run.
Product Used For: 1 Month
Product Strengths:Very smooth braking, braking doesn't suffer from mud or any liquid, completely closed system.
Product Weaknesses:Little hard to install, and scared to bend the stainless steel pipe on something.
My Bike:Ibex Apogee Sport LT 2006, hope 70mm stem, hope grip doctors, 203mm front rotor - Minor upgrades

Okay. These are hard to install. You don't have to be a shop pro, but if you're not comfy with a set of tools, get a friend to help, or pay your LBS to do the job. It's worth the hassle though, because once they're on, they're like the Ronco Rotisserie. Set it, and forget it. The increased performance on the BB7s was really noticable. And - here's my favourite part - couple them with Flak Jacket derailleur cables, and after a nice muddy or sandy ride, just hose the bike down, dry it off, quick chain lube, and you're DONE! Money, money, money all the way. If you own Avid mechs - or ANY mechanical disc brakes for that matter - these babies are a must have.
Product Used For: 6 Months
Product Strengths:A comparitively cheap component that delivers serious performance improvements. Avid BB7s + Speed Dial 7s + Full Metal Jackets = one excellent braking system. Also, the fully enclosed design means... dan-da-daaaan! Zero maintenance!
Product Weaknesses:Tricky to install.
My Bike:Ellsworth ISIS, Fox Vanilla RLC, full SRAM, Avid BB7s, XT hubs with Mavic X321 rims, yadda yadda...

I needed new brake cables, and after reading a few reviews and listening to a friend rant about them, decided to give them a shot....wonder if it was worth it still.
Product Used For: 1 Month
Product Strengths:Fairly easy to install minus one area (see weaknesses). Look great, firm pull.
Product Weaknesses:Ferrules supplied, don't fit my bike for the run to the rear disc - a bit of a pain. They don't work as good as I thought they might have.
