I have been using this product on a daily basis for a while now. Most of the time I don't even realize that it's behind me. Seems to pull better WITH a load than WITHOUT one. However, in the rain, the stock fender is NO GOOD. Quite a rooster tail problem. I solved this by using a 20", YES A 20", Freddy Fender. This wraps the tire nicely and, with a few minor tweaks, looks nice. This solves the problem of your gear getting wet. This will probably not work for those of you who are using this for singletrack. But for myself, who uses this everyday, it's a vast improvement. I do recommend this trailer for anyone who need the extra space for just about anything you would consider hauling on a bike.
Product Used For: 3 Months
Product Strengths:Ease of assembly and attachment to the bike.
Product Weaknesses:Stock fender provides absolutely NO protection for your load from the rain.
My Bike:TREK 3900 (CUSTOM)
