Great choice for making home videos to remember the best rides! Housing makes this camera truly immortal! Recommend to all bikers to capture every single moment.
Product Used For: 1 Month
Product Strengths:Long battery life. I use duracell rechargable accu's (NiMH). two batteries are enough to capture about 4 hours of video, changing 4 units of 2GB MMC cards.
Water resistant.
Product Weaknesses:Low resolution, but i only feels when played on a big screen TV. Good enough for youtube.com.
My Bike:Fuji Tahoe SL, Scott ransom 40

Overall, this is a good little camera system.. I wasn't sure whether to get the wide or regular version for mtb'ing. GoPro doesn't appear to have any footage from the non-wide version. I got the regular Hero 3 w/ wrist strap and a separate mount kit for my bike. The regular (non-wide) angle appears to be just fine, and provides a good perspective for recording trail features during a ride, from my point of view.
The wrist strap enclosure that comes with the Hero 3 cannot accept any other mount. So, you have to buy a whole new enclosure.. or a complete 'expansion kit'. And, it's not listed on Jenson's site. So, be prepared to deal with that on the non-wide. With the wide version, you get the right case.
The camera looks and feels kind of cheap so I was surprised that the image quality and functionality are pretty good. It works and I'm pleased with the results. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a good helmet cam... Just be prepared to get all the bits you'll need.

eh, it's ok. can't really bash it too much, because you can't touch anything like this at this price. you get what you pay for.
Product Used For: 1 Year
Product Strengths:pretty cheap, pretty good resolution
Product Weaknesses:cheap. i can't figure out why, but mounted on my bike, pounding through the gnar, the camera will spontaneously switch from video mode to photo burst mode. not cool. another poster mentioned poor battery life. i found that it does not like rechargeable batteries at all! 10 min max. I try to run energizer e2 lithiums, but a package of 4 batteries costs like $11, and I get maybe 80min total out of that.

Yes, it works, but there is no point in the 2GB card as you would be changing batteries all day to fill the card. The advertising is misleading as it states 1 hour of video capability neglecting to tell you of the very limited battery life. Be warned, you get what you pay for!
Product Used For: 1 Month
Product Strengths:Weatherproof. Good Value. light weight. Compact.
Product Weaknesses:Extremely poor battery life for video. Even with the recommended rechargeables you only get 9 min video! No usable viewfinder

This thing can't be beat for the price. I won't use it all the time, but going out and riding with some buddies and the camera makes it a lot more fun. It will be cool to go back and watch everything on the rainy days.
Product Used For: 1 Month
Product Strengths:The price can't be beat and you don't need another camera. The picture quality is surprisingly good. Customer Support from GoPro is top notch!
Product Weaknesses:It's not really a weakness, it was more of my fault. I broke the mounting clamp because I was careless. I sent GoPro an email about it and a new clamp was in the mail the next day.
My Bike:I used this on my Heckler and also my fixie for my commute to work.
