Product Used For: 1 Month
Product Strengths:Love the design. It's light and fits neatly under that saddle in a very bling way. No buttons, just press on the lens to control. Very easy to turn on/off while riding. Looks great and it's easy to change the battery without removing or tools. It's not the most visible system but works well enough for low light urban riding.
Product Weaknesses:It is NOT watertight as advertised. On my second rainy ride I noticed it would not turn off. Popped the battery out and along came lots of water. Turns out that cool lens press switch design has NO water sealing around it nor is there any sealing around the seam between the upper and lower half. Sure, the battery compartment has a gasket and you can ride through a puddle and be okay but NOT in any kind of rain. The price seemed reasonable enough until I realized it worked out to $10/ride...
