I rod these through early season mud, sand and snow. Easy entry and release was outstanding. There's not enough that can be said about these pedals. If you are going into a pedal system for your first time..look no further.
Product Used For: 1 Year
Product Strengths:Ride it in all conditions. Snow, slush, mud, muck flawless operation.
Product Weaknesses:I didn't come with a buy one pair get the second pair free....what can you say..they are great.

the best pedals on the market bare none. my wife use to ride on spd pedals and fell all the time for not releasing when needed. Now she rides with Time pedals for there easy release and larger platform. (She hasnt gone to the ground yet).
Product Used For: 2 or More Years
Product Strengths:Soild pedal, easy out when you need to release on one of your many superman adventures. Have had many freinds change from there old spds to TIME they found it had easier to clip in with its larger platform and had a reliable release when needed
Product Weaknesses:little heavy for cross country
My Bike:specialized FSR-4 , specialized stumpjumper and, weyless xc with xt group on all

Very reasonable price, weight is not an issue when you're on a 30 lb full suspension. Buy these pedals & don't buy into the all the Shimano hype.
Product Used For: 2 or More Years
Product Strengths:Easy entry/exit - Sweet in muddy & rainy conditions (I used to live in Seattle, but I'm back in So Cal now!).
Product Weaknesses:A little heavy if you're very weight conscious...
My Bike:Trek Liquid - 5" Travel and lots of upgrades.

I got a set of these to learn on before I got my Guzzler. I liked them so much that I got another set with my guzzler so as not to have to switch pedals or cleats. ive ridden in snow, ice, mud, sand, mud so thick it had to be scraped off the shoe with a stick, gotten pooh, mud, ice, sticks, rocks, leaves stuck in the cleats, pedals or both and have NEVER gotten stuck clipped in. a couple of times I had to remove some of the supermud from the pedals to find the springs to clip in but still was able to. Ive worn the bearings out(200lb aggressive XC rider 1k miles+) so Im stepping up to the XS. if I had to do it again Id still get these and unless you want to step up in price these are an excellent pedal. Id recomend them to anyone from newbie to pro. only time will tell if the XS are a better value than the Alium
Product Used For: 1 Year
Product Strengths:easy on the knees, easy to get in and out, easy to learn on( my first clipless),looks, durability at taking hits on rocks, roots, trees etc.
Product Weaknesses:bearings are not as good as XS if thats a weakness
My Bike:04 Devinci Guzzler,Canadian version
