These pedals are great. I've ridden these in the muddiest conditions imaginable. I was recently in a very muddy, multi-day race with long hike-a-bike sections and they never packed up once. I didn't even think about them until after the race when everyone was complaining about their pedals and I realized I never had any problems. Don't bother with the super high-end ATAC's since the XS's are just a tad heavier for 1/2 the price.
Product Used For: 2 or More Years
Product Strengths:Clip in/out in all conditions except snow. Never fail.
Product Weaknesses:They are built with an in-board bushing (instead of a bearing) which does wear out. It is easily replaceable though. Cleat will pack up with ice if you have to walk in snow at all, but it takes a while before it happens.
My Bike:I have these pedals on a XC race bike, a single-speed and a 'cross bike.

Excellent. Bought the XS because the Alium was out of stock at the LBS. The higher price over the Alium, but the lighter weight is great.
Product Used For: 1 Year
Product Strengths:Never had any problem getting into our out of the pedals, no matter what the conditions; even mud and clay muck, Always releases when I want it to. Works when guys with spds can't get clipped back in.
Product Weaknesses:Weaknesses? Is it supposed to have weaknesses?
Honestly, I can't find anything bad to say about them.
My Bike:Rocky Mountain HT
