Here in Mexico the weather is not a very nice friend, hot and rain are the common weather, so the pavement has huge holes and bumps. A skinny tire like 700x23C tire will puncture easily and wasted 4 tire tubes in 3 weeks last month -new world record!-. I'm careful with my tires, but can't dodge all "mole holes" in the way. With this tires -700x28C- you can breath easy when you hit a hole. Grip on wet conditions is well above average.
Product Used For: 1 Month
Product Strengths:Very reliable tire, light enough to forget about you're riding a 700x28C.
Best rolling efficiency @ 110 psi.
I love it's full-black color.
My Bike:Hibrid bike. MTB frame, trigger shifters, handlebar and disc brakes. All other are Road components -drivetrain, front and rear derailleurs, wheelset-

Darius a Roadie from Jamestown, Ri writes:
The Zaffiro is a decent tire for road cycling training and amateur racing. Nothing fancy, but for the price they are a great deal. Highly recommended. A great value.
Product Used For: 2 or More Years
Product Strengths:I have used the Zaffiro's for years. I only use them as a rear tire. They are an amazing value for the low low price. I favor them on aero rims.
Product Weaknesses:Only drawback, they are tighter than other tires for some reason. You will need two tire levers to mount them. Once you get used to dealing with the tightness though, it's just a minor annoyance.

I would rate this tire a 5, but (with 20yrs + experience) mounting these guys is a killer, and I have broken lots of levers/tubes.
Product Used For: 2 or More Years
Product Strengths:Very durable tire. Very puncture resistant. Somewhat heavy.
More for training, commuting, or touring...however see below
Product Weaknesses:This model, while very durable, is a killer to mount on rims.
Be prepared to break/bend plastic levers and puncture tubes.
It ate my Kool Stops, bent the Pedros, bent the Parks (near useless anyway).
It may not like Sun rims.
My Bike:Burley duet tandem, Trek 520, and others....

Product Used For: 6 Months
Product Strengths:Grippy, good in wet conditions, puncture resistant. Run em at 125psi . Good price.
Product Weaknesses:Can't take a skid. Wore right through the tire on one skid maybe 25ft.
