Seem short and skinny for 2.1 but, whatever, they are great tires for XC.
Stepped knob design climbs extremely well.. loves hardpack trail.. bite hard in corners.
Even the blackwall tire shows a bit 'o red on the sidewall.. dresses up the bike if you like pimpin' out your ride..
Product Used For: 1 Month
Product Strengths:Excellent climbing and cornering tires.. light for their size and excellently priced.
Product Weaknesses:Don't like mud.
My Bike:BMC AM bike running Mavic CrossRides.

i highly recommend these. if they work well in snow they should be able to handle anything in the summer time.
Product Used For: 3 Months
Product Strengths:the bite to these tires is awesome. the rear can be flipped to get even more traction.
i haven't used these on the dirt yet because its winter. they do get amazing traction in the snow though.
BLUE SIDEWALLS! :)
Product Weaknesses:none so far, they seem kinda thin. rolling resistance is high, but thats a sacrifice for good traction
My Bike:08 specialized epic comp

Alex a XC Rider from Juneau, Ak writes:
Have used these tires over the past year in the dry dusty trails of NorCal, then recently moved to wet and rainy Juneau AK, tires still perform well. Dont grip to wet logs/roots well, but wet rocks haven't been an issue. Remain very stable at high speed cornering. I had only 1 spill last season, but it was 25+ on a very loose banked decline, so I wouldn't necessarily blame the tires. Overall good experiences.
Product Used For: 1 Year
Product Strengths:All around good traction, never had a flat with these. Good cornering, give confidence and stability to your riding
Product Weaknesses:Have light slippage on loose climbs (then again, what tire doesn't), and same on wet roots/logs.
My Bike:KHS FXT team, mostly xc/ all mountain riding

AWESOME!!! I don't think I will ever venture away from Panaracer tires. I've tried quite a few different tires... But this one Beats em' all in my experience.
Product Used For: 6 Months
Product Strengths:I love this tire! It handles great in sharp turns and climbing on just about every terrain I've ridden with it. I have yet to have a flat as well. At first I thought it was a little cheesy looking, but It grew on me and I dig the look!
Product Weaknesses:I've had a few spills on high speed cornering when on very dry terrain.
My Bike:Custom built Marin Bobcat.

David a XC Rider from Gaithersburg, Md United States writes:
A great quality tire that i ride and love to sell at my lbs. Could use a bit more traction for the slippery parts, but the low roll resistance and steer control that this tire offers more than makes up for this one downside. Also: it's RED!
Product Used For: 2 or More Years
Product Strengths:Steers well, Great F&R Tire. Most importantly (as i'm sure you'll agree): badass black on ragin' red looks sweet.
Product Weaknesses:Caution: Slippery when wet. All other times is great. Morning after a rain/ clearing a river slips everywhere.
My Bike:Black Bike, Old X.9, Mavic 717 Rim Brake, Race Face deus xc.
