The 40-Series is the true workhorse line of Cane Creek's headsets. The 40-Series borrows design features from their premium 110-Series, incorporating all the features necessary for a durable, light-weight, long-lasting headset that represents the perfect balance of performance, durability and value. The Cane Creek 40 ZS44/EC49 headset fits bikes/frames with a 1-1/8" - 1.5" tapered headtubes and forks, and Will NOT work with frames that are set up for Integrated systems. The 40 ZS44/EC49/40's lower assembly features press-in cups with bearings outside the frame.
