The Shimano NEXUS Roller Brakes use a precision cam-and-roller design with a 122mm cooling fin that delivers strong yet easily controllable braking power. Sealing channels keep out dirt and water to assure safe and dependable braking performance in wet or dry conditions. These BR-IM45 Roller Brakes are only compatible with roller brake hubs such as Shimano Nexus hubs. Roller Brakes are intended for urban settings that don't consist of long, steep hills.
