Zipp Service Course SL stem is constructed of 7075 series aluminum and is manufactured using a 3D forged process. Titanium bolts with Torx® heads are used for light weight and for more precision tightening. This keeps the weight for a 100mm stem at a very light 120 grams without compromising any torsional stiffness.

  • Claimed weight: 120g (100mm)
  • Intended use-Road
  • 31.8mm clamp
  • 1 1/8” steerer clamp diameter
  • Rise: +or-6 degrees
  • Stack Height: 42mm

Comments about Zipp Service Course SL Road Stem:

Very sleek and great design. the torx bolt adapter is a little annoying to keep track of but no big deal. I replaced a S-Works stem with this stem. I had to add a 1.5 mm spacer to equal the Spec stem height.

The one annoying thing about the stem is that it doesn't come with a Zipp top cap. The only place I could find that had one was Zipp online. The top cap costs $12 from them and they will charge you $12 shipping it to you as well....

Comments about Zipp Service Course SL Road Stem:

I got this stem in the beyond black color and it looks super stealth. It perfectly matches my Zipp service course SL seatpost and Service Course CSL handldebars which I also got in beyond black. Zipp stuff is on the expensive side but you are paying for their quality and streamlined aesthetics so try and get them on sale to get a good deal!
