Duro Road Presta Valve Tube

Duro Road Presta Valve Tube

Inner tubes are not exciting pieces of bike equipment, but they are simply essential! However, the cost adds up quickly when buying them full pop at the shop. We've got your back with the right tubes at the right price. Save time and money with Duro tubes!

These Duro inner tubes come in two widths (20-25c & 35-43c) and in 3 different valve lengths, 33mm, 48mm, and 60mm. No matter the length of the valve, the great low price remains the same. The 20-25c width is quite accomodating. These inner tubes can be used to tire widths between 18c and 25c. The larger 35-43c tubes are even more accomodating, and can be used in almost any cyclocross or larger road tire. That’s a huge range!

One thing we have discovered is that there are only a few bicycle inner tube manufacturers. Many, if not all inner tubes come from a small handful of suppliers in Asia. This essentially means that no matter the tube brand, we’re all riding the same tubes. This is great for you because you’ll be getting a high quality tube at a greatly reduced price. Nearly nowhere else can you buy an inner tube for such a low price!

Duro Inner Tubes are super inexpensive and super versatile. Varying valve length and a wide width range enable these 700c road inner tubes to be used in many applications. Whether it’s Road, Track or Fixed Gear, these tubes will work! Don't get caught without a spare.

3 failed with 150 miles :(
I ordered four of the 48mm tubes and figured, hey, they are cheap, why not? Whoops...

Tube 1: Installed, pumped up, hit a pothole and flat. After inspection, it didn't seem to be a pinch, the seam just gave away and split.

Tube 2: This one was my fault, ran over something metal in the road riding in the dark. Oddly, I didn't see any puncture in my tire.

Tube 3: Got through my ride, noticed my tire was low. Pumped it up, flat over night. Check the tube, slow leak from the seam grrr...

Tube 4: I'm waiting to give this tube to someone I don't like

Great tubes with long valves
Great 700c tube for anyone who rides clinchers and has deep-V rims that require a long valve. I am using these on a 25c Vittoria tire. I have shallow rims, so I don't need the extra valve length, but at the price I can't complain there is no valve length option.

The best thing about these tubes is they come sealed in a bag! This means you can store them without having to worry about the rubber drying out and they stay fresh!

So far they've held up well. They're not the lightest tubes, but they're certaintly worthy of many miles of training and group rides.

All my tubes failed on the seam
All five of my tubes failed at the seams. They all last between 20 and 150 miles before splitting at the seams. These are the poorest tubes I've used. I'm switching back to Vittoria or Michelin A1 tubes. They have served me well for years.

quality tube for a good price
I see no noticeable difference in quality in these tubes vs much more expensive tubes. Given the low price I don't know why one would bother with a more expensive tube unless they really had some desire for some of the ultra-light ones. For the average rider, I think these will perform just fine and have for me. I have seen no increased susceptibility to flats with these vs other tubes.

Good Tube for the Price But Loses Air Quicker Than Others
Don't hesitate to purchase this tube, assuming you don't mind a higher than average air loss. The tubes are incredibly durable. I'm 260 lbs. and haven't flatted in hundreds of miles with these in my 700x25 tires at 130-140 psi. My commute is pretty rough too... Tons of potholes! The only downside is they lose about 10 psi a week, more than I've had with other brands. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase these again though. The price concurs all!

Good price, quality suspect.
Purchased several for my Focus bikes. One had hole between base of stem and tube. Liked prior tubes from Jenson that had smooth stem. This one is threaded, hard on 0-ring using pump.

PROS: Easy To Install

CONS: Threaded Stem Too Long

Not reliable
they are cheap, I have blown through two tubes before getting out the door and the third tube only made it 10 miles before tearing under pressure (@ 110 psi) . Also the valve broke in half while trying to pump up with hand pump.

Note: My sample size is only three tubes, but i am not willing to pay for any more to increase the validity of my claim.

CONS: Limited Compatibility

Not very duro-ble...
Well, you get what you pay for... These tubes are inexpensive so I thought I'd buy a couple. They were installed properly and one just blew out of nowhere. I checked my wheel for any debris and there was none. Second tube lasted 14 miles before it blew. Again, I checked the wheel and no debris. So I switched to yet another after my flat, and within a minute it blew. I know how to install tubes, and checked it before airing it up. This is the only brand that's given me issues. Buyer beware.

Don't do it!
I bought four of these tubes thinking that I was going to save money. In about 10 rides, I have gone through three of them. I am already on number 4. I could have bought a continental tube for 10 bucks, it would have lasted way longer, and I would have ended up saving 2 bucks. Every time, the flat happens the same way. I go for a ride, I come home, I put my bike away, and then I find it flat in the morning. It's like the rubber has weak spots, or just gives out. Tubes are on of those things that it is easy to cheap out on and every time you do, you will regret it.

I run these in a Mavic Ksyrium Equipe wheel set with Mavic Yksion tires. My Mavic tube in the rear has lasted forever. The only reason the front gave out is because I hit a pothole the size a manhole cover. I should have just replaced it with another Mavic or Continental tube, but nope, I tried to save some money and in the end didn't save anything at all.

Save yourself some cash. Don't buy these.
