The World Leader in Grip Technology is the slogan of ODI grips. For over 25 years, the company has dedicated itself to providing the best possible products possible. Their proprietary compounds have been extensively researched and test by top athletes around the world. They strive to create grips that provide the highest level of comfort and longevity possible. The company is also the innovator of the “lock-on” grip design which has become the worldwide standard for mountain bike grips.

All ODI products are produced exclusively in the USA. While other companies move manufacturing overseas to pinch pennies, they have chosen to keep all production within the US so they can maintain the highest possible product quality. This process is facilitated by their long-term relationships with trusted suppliers.

ODI handlebar grips have expanded their product offering to the MTB, BMX, motocross, ATV, road, sports bike, watercraft, and snow, and scooter grips industries. In mountain biking, they produce an incredible range of grips along with stems and handlebars. Some of their most popular grips include the Ruffian series, Elite series, and Longneck BMX grip which all have their own unique grip pattern. ODI BMX grips slide over the edge of the handlebar and stay in place using friction created between the handlebar and grip compound.

Most of their grips feature a two lock-ring design which means there is a locking clamp on both sides of the grip. This provides a secure interface between the grip and the handlebar. All ODI lock-on grips also come with bar ends to protect your handlebar and your body in the event of a crash. In more recent years, they have created grips that only have one lock-ring on the inside of the grip with a build in bar end on the opposing side. The single lock-ring design allows the rider to place their hand on the very end of the grip without having to feel an uncomfortable metal lock-ring under their outside finger.
