Every so often someone comes along who challenges the status quo and brings innovation to an existing space. Lucky for us, we get to benefit from that in a very cool way. Sea Sucker was born out of the imaginative mind of Chuck Casagrande, in 2005, to add marine accessories to boats. After years of proving the capabilities of their suction mounts in some of the harshest conditions, Sea Sucker realized the potential for their mounts to be used for a bike, kayak, SUP, and surfboard car racks.
The key innovation that sets Sea Sucker apart from the competition is their unique suction cup mounts. These mounts use a vacuum cup pump to securely mount any variety of their racks or accessories to smooth surfaces. This means you instantly add a suction cup bike rack to your car without having to fuss with having crossbars or roof top mounts. This solution is ideal for those who have unique mounting needs. We’ve seen Sea Sucker used for Van Life setups, atop sports cars, or as a simple suction cup roof rack setup for travelling in a rental car.
Sea Sucker products are made in the USA and go through rigorous testing and quality control before shipping out from their facility in Bradenton, Florida. They employ a wide range of cyclist, anglers, paddle boarders and more to ensure that each product meets the demands of that demographic. Further, their testing proves that their products will never compromise on quality or performance. They’ve even tested their bike racks at 140mph! Whether carrying your prized road bike, your rowdy mountain bike, or gravel grinder, SeaSucker racks will get you there with style and security.
Sea Sucker is committed to the cycling community and has been the official rack supplier the UCI, since 2017. Their racks are used on many of the top cycling teams’ support vehicles and can hold up to 9 bikes. These athletes and teams put these racks through some of the toughest challenges, day after day, and Sea Sucker racks continue to pass the tests with flying colors.
If you find yourself wanting a more versatile option of roof rack or need something that offers you more freedom to accessorize your vehicle for your demands, we highly recommend checking out the wide array of options from Sea Sucker.
