Whether you have larger hands or simply want larger diameter grips with a softer feel, there is a good chance the Wolf Tooth Fat Paw grips are just what you're looking for. These fluffy fatties measure 37mm in diameter when installed, making them among the biggest grips out there. Using a 100% silicone compound, the Fat Paw provides excellent vibration damping and is soft enough to conform to your hand for enhanced comfort, while its tacky texture allows you to ride with or without gloves in all weather conditions. This combination of features helps to reduce hand fatigue and finger numbness. Not to mention you get bar end plugs with a Wolf Head on them! We wouldn't dare cross paths with anyone with Wolf Head bar end plugs.

I like a fat grip, so these work well for me. I was worried that they would compress down, but after a full season of riding I haven't noticed a significant amount of compression, the material is pretty dense. They went on easily with a little alcohol spray.
I was having problems with various lock-on grips. I like to rest part of my hand on the very end of my 800mm bars, and was getting hand pain from traditional lock-on grips where there was no padding. Vibrations were resonating right into my hands and causing fatigue quickly. I have big hands and saw these online and decided to give them a try. They installed fine using hair spray. They are quite thick, and provide decent padding to prevent hand fatigue. No issues thus far, seem sturdy and durable. I wish they were a tad wider, as now there is a noticeable gap between my shifter and grip that kinda looks weird with such a thick grip,
Have them on my rigid SS, definitely help smooth out the vibrations and are super comfy. Have surprisingly held up great even through falls, including hitting a tree fast enough to bend my brake lever. Installation was easy with windex, and they haven't shifted.
I almost always ride with gloves, and they kill it for that, but with bare hands they're slick when you get sweaty or it's wet, so if that's your style I wouldn't recommend them.
These grips are thick, comfortable and serve a purpose but at a cost. They become super slick when even slightly moist from sweat alone (with gloves on). They would be down right dangerous in wet conditions. I have about 2 dozen Mountain Bike rides on them and I'm taking them off. I would also question long term durability. They were easy to install using their alcohol trick and they do back their product (i.e. refund). Depending on where and how you ride they may work for you.
I usually use esi super chunky, saw the wolf tooth and thought I’d give them a try. I like these way better. I’m a 6’1” 250 lbs rider and these really help me with hand numbness and arm fatigue. Great product.
Very comfortable for those of us gifted with large hands. Install is not bad, just used the denatured alcohol and they side/twist on with some effort. Forgot gloves for an enduro and not a big deal. Being as they are foam if you get them in the dirt they will show it,
I have these and the ESI super chunky on another bike. These are more supple and a little bigger than the ESI's. The ESI's seem like they will hold up longer since they are denser but I don't mind swapping these out every season. They do seem to break down after a while and leave me with black palms I use an air compressor with a 4" blow gun to get them on. To remove, use an air compressor again or cut them
bought them for a bruised palm, kept them for monkey claw at the park!
Awesome grips. Just got my second pair. Had a gnarly crash and bruised my palm badly. Bought these to use while rehabbing. Kept them on the enduro bike after I'd healed since I'd gotten used to them, went to the bike park on it, and it was the first day I didn't have monkey claw rigamortis at the end of the day! Then I bought a new dh rig, went to the park with standard grips, and felt an obvious negative difference. Just ordered a set for the big bike. Granted, they're made of foam so they do get small bites taken out of them when you crash, but dude... they're 20 bucks. and they cut down on vibration and hand fatigue? Yes please. And for the guy who wrote that they're slick when wet? I disagree. Not any more than other grips. I'm a pretty sweaty dude and wear gloves all the time and sometimes on a long day, I'll have sweat through them. Never noticed any difference in these. Been riding mtn bikes for 26 years, and I'm sold on large diameter grips, and these in particular right now.
I originally rated this product as 4 stars but I have to redo my review due to the poor construction of this product. My left grip tore on the outer edges on my third ride from lightly making contact with a rock. It wasn't even a crash. There's no chance these grips would survive a proper wipeout . Unimpressed.
