The AirFlex impact gel provides a high level of impact absorption without adding extra bulk or weighing down younger riders and the addition of a sliding hard shell knee plate helps to disperse impact energy and protect from abrasions. Silicone print at the cuff helps keep the pre-curved knee guards in place, even during technical riding, while MoistureCool and AirMesh fabrics help to keep the rider cool and dry.
