E-bikes are designed to remove many of the barriers that keep people from enjoying the entirety of riding. Steep hills will feel much more manageable and longer rides will feel less intimidating. The Marin Alpine Trail E E-Bike puts the fun and freedom of eMTB at a super-friendly price. It has a Series 4 Alloy Frame that uses 150mm of travel on the rear and 160mm of travel on the front. The frame features MultiTrac Suspension, an integrated battery/charging port, Boost hub spacing, a built-in rear speed sensor, a 29" front and 27.5" rear wheel, and full internal cable routing.
The Trail E version of the Marin Alpine Trail comes with a Shimano Deore/CUES 10-speed drivetrain. This includes a cassette that has an ultra-wide 11-46T gear range that makes climbing and pedaling through rough terrain much easier. TRP Slate Evo 4-piston hydraulic disc brakes provide excellent stopping power so you can descend with confidence. Marin aluminum 29"/27.5" rims are paired with Vee Tire Co tires that can be set up tubeless for a smoother ride, better traction, and fewer flats. With the TranzX Dropper Post, you'll be able to quickly lift and lower your saddle with the press of a lever.
