The introduction of E-bikes to the world of cycling has allowed bikes to become more capable than ever before. The steep climbs have now become just as easy as the descents. Sometimes it’s hard to decide whether to drive your car or ride your bike to the local store to pick up some groceries. Benno created the Boost E to ease this decision process and get more people choosing their bikes over their cars. An e-bike equipped with a Bosch drivetrain immediately eliminates complaints such as “too hilly”, “too far”, “too sweaty”, or “I can’t carry enough”. All complaints that lead people to enter their cars for even the shortest trips. The boost is a sturdy e-bike that makes transportation fun and easy. The Boost’s versatility allows for endless possibilities. Attach bags, child seats, boxes, crates, and even a surfboard if you feel like it.

Drive Unit

• Motor Drive System The Bosch Performance Line Drive System offers a sporty and dynamic ride with a maximum assist speed of 20mph (Europe 25km/h). The finely balanced 250-watt system with 63Nm torque provides full support even at a low cadence. This ensures a powerful riding behavior, especially when starting or climbing hills, even while carrying extra cargo.
• Control Display The Bosch Purion is the minimalist on-board computer that lets you choose between five different riding modes, displays your speed, charging status, range, trip distance, and total distance. Plus, it allows you to control the integrated Supernova lights with a push of your thumb, so both hands remain safely on the handlebar.
• Lithium-Ion Battery The Bosch PowerPack 400 watt-hour battery is an efficient energy provider with staying power. It combines impressive mileage, a long lifetime, and low weight. Easy to install or remove, it can be charged quickly irrespective of the charge level. It will power a range of 30-75 miles (50-120km) depending on the mode and terrain.

Recommended add-ons for ultimate utility

• More Like Your Car’s Trunk Water-resistant, oversized Benno Utility Pannier Bags (sold separately) are designed to be used like a trunk. Simply drop in your backpack, grocery bags, boxes, or other oversized items and secure them with the adjustable strap system. Depending on the size of the item, you can close the bag or keep the cover open for the load to extend out.
• A Stable Ride Under Load The specially designed Utility Front Tray (sold separately) can carry up to 10kg/20lbs and with its open front, you can transport even larger items, taking care to fasten them securely. This heavy-duty tray mounts to the front of the frame so it won’t affect steering balance, letting you carry loads effortlessly while enjoying a stable ride.
• Fits Two Full Grocery Bags Our large capacity, extra durable bag (sold separately) fits perfectly in our Utility Front Tray. With its simple fold-over design it can help you carry and secure a variety of different loads. It will easily hold two fully packed grocery bags or a large backpack. If you prefer to use it more like a basket, simply roll down the sides and keep it open on top.
• Supersize Your Rack Carry and secure even larger loads with the new, easy-to-mount Extension Rails for the Utility Rear Racks (sold separately). The Platform Rail extends the rack deck into an extra-large platform, while the High Rail adds more railing to help keep your cargo in place.
