Maybe you are swapping on a new chainring. Or perhaps you want to add a chainring spacer to improve your bike’s chainline. Or like just about every home mechanic does at some point, you stripped or lost a critical chainring bolt. Whatever the case JensonUSA.com has you covered with an array of chainring bolts in a wide range of sizes.
And yes, when replacing chainring bolts, you will need to take size and attachment into account. Lengths can run anywhere from 6mm to 16mm, and some bolts thread directly into the spider, while others require additional nuts to be secured into place.
Size of the chainring bolt’s hex socket is also worth considering. The larger it is the easier it is to install and remove without fear of stripping. Even color is a consideration, with brands such as Wolf Tooth and KCNC offering you the chance to add a little pop to your drivetrain. How about some gold or purple chainring bolts?
As always, if you have questions, JensonUSA’s Gear Advisors have answers. Just give us a call at 951-234-7554 and we will help get you headed in the right direction.
