Hardcore Hardtail

Tackling terrain that is normally reserved for bikes with lots of moving parts and 5” of travel, the Kona Honzo begs to do more than you’d normally expect from a hardtail. The Honzo AL is an aggressive hardtail that borrows its progressive geometry from its cromoly cousin and designed to smash singletrack.

Kona 6061 Aluminum Butted frame ensure lightweight and strength that will boost confidence when navigating technical singletrack. Front suspension duties are handled by the smooth operating Rockshox Recon Silver TK fork with 120mm of travel and lockout. The Shimano Deore 1 x 10speed drivetrain with Race face crankset provides crisp, accurate shifts, and enough gear range to charge downhills, spin the climbs, and everything in-between. 29” WTB wheels with Maxxis tires roll smoothly over rough terrain, and offer up plenty of traction to confidently rail high speed corners. Powerful Shimano hydraulic disc brakes keep everything under control when it’s time to slow things down. Top it off with a Kona branded cockpit and this aggressive hardtail is ready to shred.

So be careful the Honzo AL doesn’t coerce you into situations that you normally wouldn’t consider on a hardtail. You might find yourself with a grin so wide it hurts.
