It's a fact that moving parts need a lubricant to keep them running smoothly. Without lube on your chain, it will start to wear out prematurely and won't shift as well. The Park Tool CL-1 Synthetic Bike Chain Lube uses PTFE and a proprietary blend of oils. The CL-1 works great in both wet and dry conditions.
