The Cannondale Scalpel 4 Bike is a light, fast, and thrilling XC machine, capable of winning races or just blurring the trail around you. It has a Series 1 carbon frame that uses 120mm of travel on and front and rear. The frame uses a Proportional Response Suspension and Geometry that ensures that every frame is tailored to the rider who is riding it. The frame features a FlexPivot chainstay, full internal cable routing, a threaded bottom bracket, Boost hub spacing, 55mm chainline, and Universal Derailleur Hanger.

The 4 version of the Cannondale Scalpel comes with a Shimano Deore/XT 12-speed drivetrain. With a 32T chainring up front and a 10-51T cassette on the rear, you'll have no issues climbing, sprinting, or going on all-day adventures. Shimano MT501 hydraulic disc brakes provide highly-reliable stopping power so you can descend with confidence. Stan's NoTubes Crest S2 32h rims are paired with Maxxis Rekon Race and Aspen Tires that can be set up tubeless for a smoother ride, better traction, and fewer flats. With the Cannondale DownLow Dropper Post, you'll be able to quickly lift and lower your saddle with the press of a lever.
