Calling upon decades of manufacturing experience, and building off of the highly successful Pro 4 Hub, the Hope Pro 5 Rear Hub boasts a slew of new features, refinements, and upgrades, making it one of the most durable and high-performance hubs available. The redesigned drive mechanism features even less drag than the previous Pro 4, with a zero-drag labyrinth seal and a new pawl and ratchet design creating a faster-rolling, more reliable hub. The new 108 points of engagement (compared to the previous 44) provide a nearly instant pedaling response with reduced drag and maintained reliability. The updated hub shell features a larger bearing for increased run life, while the redesigned hub shape increases stiffness. How do you improve on a classic? Just ask Hope Technology.
