Kona Cinder Cone Bike 2015

The sky is blue, the sun sets in the West, and Kona will always have a Cinder Cone Bike. This version of it does what the previous 27 or 28 models have always done. It nails it. Consider the sweet handling Scandium 69 frameset, that's the same thing rolling on bikes across Kona's range. Notice the 27.5" wheelset, which is bigger than you might expect, but still not too big to manage. Look at the 2.25" tire on that front wheel, and realize how much grip you're going to have, right when you need it. And realize that from front to back this bike is holding a very smart collection of components.

Shifters are Shimano Acera, and the brakes Shimano hydraulic, with a big 180mm rotor in front and a 160mm rotor in the rear. The RockShox 30 Gold fork offers 100mm of travel, and there's 27 gears to choose from. FSA brings the headset, the rims come from WTB, and the derailleurs are a Shimano Alivio in front, and a Shimano Deore Shadow handling the back. You'll sit on the WTB Volt Sport SE saddle.
